My Ultimate Guide to a Successful Blogmas [AD]

Two posts in one day? I’m spoiling you! But July 2020 was a successful month for so many reasons. I achieved the majority of my goals set out in my monthly goals post. I earned my first affiliate money through blogging. And I started planning for Blogmas. Not only did I start work on my Blogmas posts, but I also realised just how hard it is to find the perfect Blogmas planner. In the middle of July, I decided I was going to publish my first ebook: The Ultimate Guide to a Successful Blogmas!

Why a Blogmas ebook?

Did you know, in the 6 years and 6 weeks that I’ve been blogging, I have taken part in 4 years of Blogmas? December 2020 will make this 5 years of Blogmas! And while I know not everyone is happy about bloggers selling ebooks and guides, Blogmas is one of the few things I know a lot about.

The Ultimate Guide to a Successful Blogmas

The Ultimate Guide to a Successful Blogmas came about after several people asked me “What is Blogmas?” or “Do you have to post daily?”. Most of these questions were followed by shock and horror that there are people who publish daily in December, as well as follow through on promoting each post fully. I started to write a blog post about it all to try and answer some questions, however when it reached 4,000 words and I was still in the introduction stage, I realised this needed moved to something bigger. The benefit of having time off work during a pandemic – it makes you think of new ideas!

The Ultimate Guide to a Successful Blogmas

My guide covers a lot. From “What is Blogmas” to the different styles and means of going about this blogging challenge. I cover content ideas and title suggestions – there are over 120 ideas inside the cover of my ebook! As well as talking you through the planning and scheduling stages, I have included tips on increasing the SEO of each post, and how and where to promote after clicking publish. Finally, my pride and joy, is the planner! The planner included in my Ultimate Guide to a Successful Blogmas is the planner I use every month for planning my posts! Even better, I created my ebook with the intention that the reader can print off the planners, the checklists, the tracking pages, and keep them close at hand throughout them planning their own successful Blogmas.

I’ve been really excited to share this with you today, and while my publishing date had originally been set for October, I just couldn’t hold it in any longer! Christmas is my favourite time of the year, and as such Blogmas has become such an integral part to Christmas that I couldn’t imagine the festive season without it.

I’ll be running more Christmas and Blogmas style content this year, so keep your eyes peeled on my social media accounts and here for further updates! In fact, I’ve included a sneak peek at some of them within the ebook, so buy yours now to get in on the secret before anyone else!

I’ve been working on this solidly for a month now, and I feel like this could be the start of me falling in love with blogging all over again. So a big thank you to everyone who has supported me and encouraged me. I honestly wouldn’t still be here blogging without your support. From comments to views to follows to shares, every little thing adds up and pushes me to keep posting. A thank you to Kayleigh for telling me not to undersell myself and for being completely honest whilst supporting the whole ebook. To Emily, Tom, Ffi, Naomi and Collette for running your eyes over everything and giving me feedback. And a thank you to you for reading this post and (hopefully) deciding to support a fellow blogger in their latest venture.  I look forward to sharing your Blogmas journey with you!

  8. I only heard about blogmas a couple of weeks ago when it was mentioned on Twitter. At first my feeling were ‘no way, I’d never find the time for that’, but now I’m starting to consider it. I guess planning and advanced preparation is the key! If I do decide to go for it I’ll definitely purchase your ebook! I would need advice from a seasoned pro like you! Thanks for taking the time to create something to help us all. And Christmas is my favourite time of the year too x

  11. Aw I’m so excited for you!
Maybe try asking them in one of your posts how they would feel about a month of extra posts?
When I’m thinking about changing things up, I put a question out on Twitter to see what people think 💖
