Happy Tuesday! How’re you feeling this morning? Are you as happy as me to be awake? You see, it’s almost time to open my next day on the advent calendars, and then I get to spend a little time on my bullet journal, especially with it not being a hair washing day!
I can hardly believe that we’re now 40% through the lead up to Christmas. In fact, I’d almost go so far as to say that the lead up is better than the actual day! But I don’t think I’d quite mean it.
Last year for Christmas, I was given a new journal for me to continue bullet journaling. While I’ll admit, I did lose my way with it a bit, after my little blip in the office in October, I started back in properly and have found myself a lot calmer, more organised, and I found myself looking forward to working on it.
From then, I put a bit of effort in. I changed up my daily layout, my weekly view, even what habits I was tracking. And I know I’m not at all artsy, and my doodles and creativity just aren’t “Instagramable” enough for me to be really proud of it. However it was those “Pinterest Worthy” journals that I kept seeing online that almost made me not start, and so I thought what better way to spread a little festive cheer than to share my December bullet journal set up with you all.
To start the month, we have the 25 days of Christmas Films that I am proud to say I’ve been sticking to.
Next up came the daily mood tracker. I saw something similar on Pinterest and adapted it to fit my own bullet journal.
Present purchasing gets pretty manic in December, so I’ve been using this layout to keep track of it all.
Following that, we have the monthly view. Now I’m not going to lie, this month is hectic. I keep looking at this wondering why it’s so busy! I’ve also got a daily memories page where each night I’ve tried to make a little note about how I’m feeling or what happened that day. Unfortunately I missed a few days though!
With playing guitar and wanting to make sure I’m practising enough, I started tracking it. And on the page beside is my sleep tracker. I set a goal at the beginning of the year to sleep at least 7 hours a night. While I don’t always achieve it, I try!
Then we jump to the weekly planner! The below is for this week.
So there you have it. As I said, not very artsy. I’ve a few pages already filled at the back with goals for next year and for the next decade, but we’ll be transferring them across to my new bullet journal next year! I’ve already put in my request for the exact one I would like… fingers crossed Santa and Mrs Claus were listening!
Do you journal? If so, what do you put in yours that I’ve missed out on? Let me know below, and remember to call back tomorrow for the next Blogmas post!
