The end of the week

And what a week it’s been. Not that I personally have actually achieved much but it has been busy doing things for other people.

On Monday I did a lot of revision while running around, doing things for my granny. Tuesday, Rachel came back from her hiking trip in the Mourne Mountains with her boyfriend. Wednesday was another revision day, nothing much to report and it was particularly boring. Thursday was mainly spent running around with Rachel, handing out her CVs and application forms, before a visit from the other granny and Cameron was over for dinner. Friday we have Granny her birthday present in the morning and spent the afternoon browsing the shops. Yesterday, Saturday, was actually granny’s birthday and so we went out for lunch to Pretty Mary’s, a little pub in Moira, Northern Ireland. We’d chosen to go there for their £5 lunch menu but of course this menu had just been taken off and a new menu was in place. In the end I ordered a chicken and bacon panini, it was quite dry unfortunately and wasn’t actually a panini – rather it was a burger bap toasted. Disappointing for £6. We said our goodbyes before heading to Belfast to see other Granny and went out for dinner – it was an expensive day! Finally today was spent buying things for Rachel’s birthday and doing a bit of revision.

To be honest, it has been a full week and I’m sorry for boring you with the details. This upcoming week, I’m going to Fermanagh to visit my cousin! I’m so excited to get away from the house even if it is only for 24 hours. It’s a bit of a mental house at the minute, and that’s without adding in the usual arguments between Mum and Dad.
This time 2 weeks and I’ll be in Ibiza! I can’t wait! Except I don’t want to “wish my life away” as my granny would say. It’ll be good to get away but there’s still the coming back part, and that’s when the resits come into play. So wish me luck!
