November 2018

Remember me? I’m Katie, the 23 year old so-called blogger living in Northern Ireland. And I can’t believe it’s November 2018 already, or that I didn’t post for nearly 2 months…

Today marks the start of a new month, and what is hopefully a bit of a revival of Life With Ktkinnes. It’s November 2018, and with it comes a few posts. I’m hoping to gradually re-introduce myself to blogging so that I can do Blogmas next month! I say that as if I don’t already have every post at least semi drafted…

But yes, sorry, I suppose we should have a little look back over the last while! If I’m right, the last time we properly chatted was when I was in Ibiza for my birthday.  It was a good holiday, even through all the rain and thunder and lightning… so while we didn’t get a lot of colour, I did manage to burn on my birthday, and it was good to get a holiday. I say that, because the day we got back, we started moving house. Between packing up and moving, working, choir, and just generally trying to get everything done, time flew by. Next thing I knew, Rachel and I were in London to see Michael Buble! It was such a great weekend, even if I was shattered after it.  I came back, and Mum and Dad had finished moving us.  It was now October! Another week of work, and then both Rachel and my aunt were over for the weekend.  It was a long but fun weekend, and soon it was back to work and everything was beginning to settle. That weekend I had my choir concert and was terrified for it.  But it actually went really well! The next morning I was up and out for a day school tutorial. Oh wait, did I mention I’ve started an Open University course – Business and Management! So yeah, I had a day tutorial for it. By the time I got home, I was shattered though, so I was quite happy to spend the Sunday working on stuff for the course. By Monday I was ready for work again, and had another round of Choir practice on Wednesday – now we’re preparing for a Christmas concert! Family came round for an afternoon, we went to the north coast, and we just generally settled into the new house. Oh, and today I have my first assessment due in for my course, so I feel like that’s all I’ve been working on for the last few weeks.

Now that we’re into November, I have a weekend when Mum and Dad are visiting Rachel, so I get the house to myself for a few days.  I’m then heading to Glasgow for a weekend to stay with Paul and Lucy, and I’m actually so excited to see the two of them again! I have 2 assignments due this month as well, well one today – does that count?, and I want to start my Christmas planning. Yeah that doesn’t sound too busy… but amongst work, studying, and just generally living, I’m really looking forward to getting back into blogging.

With that in mind, I wanted to set myself a couple of goals for November 2018. I don’t think it’s even worth considering the goals I set back in September… so we’ll just bypass them!

My goals for November 2018 are as below:

  1. Post at least once a week.
  2. Keep up to date with my course work.
  3. Get organised for Blogmas.

Hey :) I'm 23, from Northern Ireland and no longer new to blogging. I love all things TV, books, food, music and film as well as going out with friends. This is hopefully somewhere you'll be able to come if you feel you need a laugh or even just to stay in touch. I'd like to take this chance to say thanks for coming to read! Enjoy and feel free to make any recommendations!
