Good morning you beautiful people! It’s such an exciting day today, not least because I’m here to talk about Christmas. Well, actually it is. It’s purely because I’m talking Christmas. In fact, this year’s Blogmas is called Christmas With Ktkinnes, and there are several elements to it – some of which we’ve already talked about! Are you ready to find out more?

Ever since I first heard about Blogmas back in 2016, I’ve loved taking part. It’s stressful, and I hate every minute of it, but also love every second of it and couldn’t imagine a Christmas season now without it. So having done the usual posting every day of December, and a few special countdown things over the years, I found myself thinking “What can I do differently this year??” And that’s when it hit me!
Christmas With Ktkinnes is getting its own December Photo Challenge! So as well as the annual Christmas Card Swap, the daily postings here on Life With Ktkinnes, and my daily updates on how I’m keeping myself in the festive spirit, there will be a December Photo Challenge that I’m inviting every single one of you to take part in. Oh, and there’s The Ultimate Guide to a Successful Blogmas [AD] – my ebook that can help you plan and enjoy the festive season!
As well as this photo challenge, I’m also going to be creating a Christmas playlist, a few downloadable freebies, Christmas Movie Nights, and lots more – so keep an eye out on my posts here, and over on Twitter or Instagram to keep up to date with what’s happening when! I’ll also come back to this post and regularly update it with plans, so be sure to pin it for future reference!
December Photo Challenge on Christmas With Ktkinnes
For the Christmas With Ktkinnes Photo Challenge, you’ll find the prompts below. I’ve left them as open as possible for you to interpret them in your own way. You can use the prompts on Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Facebook or your blog! If you tag them with the hashtag #ChristmasWithKtkinnes on Instagram and/or Twitter, then I’ll be able to keep track and share what I can. I’ll be opening a thread on my Facebook page for you to link to your posts or share them on Facebook. Then, throughout the month I can share some of my favourites (with links back to the original post) and at the end of the month, or beginning of the new year, I will have a post go live to highlight all that was shared throughout the month of December.
So I look forward to seeing how you use these prompts! I personally can’t wait to get sharing across my accounts.
If, like me, you’re beginning to get excited for Christmas, why not check out either my posts from the last few years of Blogmas, or read some of my more recent Christmas With Ktkinnes posts?
