It’s another new day, and another new post. And to be honest I started writing this post and kept closing down the laptop. What right do I have to discuss race and racism? What right do I have to write about White Privilege? What right have I to try and talk to you all about something that I personally am only properly teaching myself now? Well my friends, this whole site came about from me trying to figure out life. So settle back and grab a drink, because this might be a hard pill to swallow.
Another new month, and I’m amazed – it’s actually falling on an official posting day! How are you all this fine morning? Can anyone else not quite believe we’re into July 2020 already? It partly feels like this year has gone on forever, whilst simultaneously flying by.
And once again it’s a Wednesday morning! How are we all keeping? Did you know that today marks 14 Wednesdays of being at home and fully furloughed? Well the exciting news is that’s all changing soon, but to find out more you’ll need to pop back next week! So in the meantime, I wanted to talk today about weight (gain and loss). If this is something that may trigger you then I apologise, but today’s post is all about my weight journey – one I’m still on.
Happy Wednesday! How are you all doing? I’ll be honest, I am currently living for Sunday morning – purely because I get to have these Almond and Blueberry Pancakes again!
And so we begin another Wednesday! Anyone else glad the weather is meant to pick up again over the next few days? I mean, I resented the sun and heat because it meant I couldn’t sit and watch TV all day, but I do miss it when it goes. But enough of the rambling, today we’re here because I’ve been nominated to take part in The Vincent Ehindero Blogger Award Tag! Continue reading “The Vincent Ehindero Blogger Award Tag”
Hello again you lovely people! It’s Wednesday again – I know, I need to try and keep better track of the days. But when the sun is out, one day rolls into another. Reading in the sun has to be one of the biggest highlights of being furloughed, so I decided to bring you an unprompted review of Girlfriend In A Coma!
So here we are. Another new month, and another one that looks set to be spent off work, creating projects, and looking to the future. But let’s hope June 2020 is a better one. Continue reading “June 2020”
Eugh how is it Wednesday again already? It seems like only yesterday I was working on last week’s Imagining the End of Lockdown post… But here we are again! I hmmed and hahed over what to talk about this week, and after watching the first ever Star Wars film for the first time yesterday, I decided to go with 100 films to watch before you die – a cheery thought!
In case you, like me, seem to be having difficulty keeping track of days… it’s New Post Wednesday! Anyone else also really looking forward to getting back to work as soon as safely possible? Because today’s post is all about imagining the end of lockdown – just in case the title didn’t give it away.
So the way things are going, it seems unlikely that any of us will be going abroad for a summer holiday. If that makes you as sad as it does me, then today’s post is all about how you can have your home holiday – a summer holiday in your garden!
