Another Wednesday dawns, and it’s another one not in work. I’d be sad, but it means I once again have time to read, write, and just generally keep on top of all things blogging. Some of you might remember back to 2016 when I looked at the Amazon list of 100 books to read before you die. Well, four years later I decided it might be time to revisit that list! Ah Saturday, one of my favourite days of the week. Do you know what makes an even better Saturday? This melt-in-your-mouth delicious vegetarian breakfast burger recipe!
While the U.K. can often appear less racist than the USA, the statement that “Racism doesn’t exist in the UK” just simply isn’t true. Today’s post is taking a look at racism in the UK Continue reading “Racism in the UK”
And it’s Saturday again! A different one to last week – the furthest we’re going this Saturday is to our rugby club for an afternoon of “Quins on the Green”. But as life has begun to resemble more of normality, one thing has stuck – I’m still slowly and (now not-so) silently working on a first draft of a book I would love to self-publish when it’s finished! But before I could even consider that, I would have to finish writing it. And maybe read Your Ultimate Guide to a Powerful Book Launch[AFF] by The Ray Journey. Good morning you beautiful people! This morning, after 16 Wednesdays of not being in work, I find myself getting up early to squeeze in a workout before I head into work. It’s mad that we’re over half way through 2020 already, and so today we’re having a look at 2020 So Far (Part 2). Continue reading “2020 So Far – Part 2”
Can anyone else not quite believe we’re almost half way through July? Well it’s Saturday 11th, and those of you up earlier than me today may have noticed a tiny hiccup… but welcome to my new bedroom!Continue reading “My New Bedroom”
Good morning again and happy Wednesday! Well, it is and it isn’t. I’m actually off work today, so technically my weekend has started already, and I’m a little tired out. But I wanted to share with you today about my experience of using the Function of Beauty shampoo and conditioner set!
What’s this – a post on a Monday? Katie must be going mad! Well, actually I just was too excited to share this guest post from Amy to wait for another clear slot on my post planner. So I suppose you’re getting three posts this week. Shall we dive on in, as Amy shows us how to support UK small businesses? The next words you read will be from Amy, so enjoy!
It’s another new day, and another new post. And to be honest I started writing this post and kept closing down the laptop. What right do I have to discuss race and racism? What right do I have to write about White Privilege? What right have I to try and talk to you all about something that I personally am only properly teaching myself now? Well my friends, this whole site came about from me trying to figure out life. So settle back and grab a drink, because this might be a hard pill to swallow.
Another new month, and I’m amazed – it’s actually falling on an official posting day! How are you all this fine morning? Can anyone else not quite believe we’re into July 2020 already? It partly feels like this year has gone on forever, whilst simultaneously flying by.
