Christmas Markets 2017

And Day 4 of Blogmas is here! How did decorating your homes go over the weekend? Anyone else in the Christmas spirit? I certainly am, and what better way to get in the Christmas spirit than to go to a Christmas Market? So it’s Monday again, and for today’s blog post I want to take you to the shores of Loch Lomond! But before we can take that journey, let’s have a look at tonight’s Christmas film!

So tonight’s film is the classic A Charlie Brown Christmas! I’ve never seen it, but I’m sure we’ve all heard the song from it! So I can’t wait to watch this over my dinner tonight.

But now for the main post! Some of you may remember back in my November round-up I mentioned going to Loch Lomond to see the Christmas lights being turned on at the Christmas Market in Loch Lomond. Well, I just love Christmas Markets in general. In fact, I love them that much I got too caught up in both the Loch Lomond Christmas Market and the Edinburgh one that I forgot to take pictures of them!

So instead of being able to show you them, I ended up taking a trip into Glasgow City Centre and taking a walk around the market there in daylight. So while I get that it’s not as magical, I hope you enjoy it nonetheless!

What Christmas markets are near you? Or which ones have you gone to? Let me know below!

Hey :) I'm 24, from Northern Ireland and no longer new to blogging. I love all things TV, books, food, music and film as well as going out with friends. This is hopefully somewhere you'll be able to come if you feel you need a laugh or even just to stay in touch. Life can be hard and confusing, so

  2. Aw thank you lovely! And I’m so jealous that your markets are filled with gifts! This year both the Glasgow and Edinburgh markets seemed predominantly food stalls and it really annoyed me… hopefully the Belfast market isn’t as foodie! xxx

  3. Okie I’m going to have to find where there are some Christmas markets in Cornwall. I’ve never been to a Christmas market but after this post I want to go to one desperately! Feeling so Christmassy right now!

  4. Eeeeekkk I love this! I absolutely adore Christmas markets, I think I love the smells and the lights best of all! I love the fact that there is so many different foods to try out and that there’s such a magical feel to it all! We have one in Canterbury, haven’t been yet but I intend to go! Xx
