Happy Monday everyone! How was your weekend?
I’m currently running around Disneyland Paris with Leon and Jordanne, so I hope your Monday has started off as well as mine!
I thought I would share my skin care routine with you today. It’s taken a good few years, but I think my skin is finally settling down, and having tried what feels like every product under the sun, you have no idea how delighted I am to finally have products that work. Yes, I still have scarring, I have my hair problem (but that’s a completely different post), and yes I still get breakouts every now and again. The difference is, I know they’ll disappear again within a few days. Shall we take a look?
Above are all the products I use on my face on a nearly daily basis. No one’s perfect, and I am awful at remembering to take makeup off – who’s with me?

To start, once a week I use my 7 Day Scrub Cream by Clinique. While it is designed to be safe to use every day, I feel like using it more frequently actually brought out more spots and dried my skin out. So yes, you can have too much of a good thing! But I’ve been using this for a good few years, and it honestly does make all the difference to my skin.
Every other day, I use the Visibly Clear Pink Grapefruit Cream Wash by Neutrogena. I don’t think it smells very citrusy, but it smells lovely all the same! Both of these are used in the shower on damp skin, and worked into a lather. You don’t need much of either of them, and they leave my skin feeling clean and ready!
The final step in my morning routine is my Boot’s No7 Beautiful Skin Day Cream for Normal/Dry Skin. With SPF 15, I love it. There are times I find myself needing a slightly stronger moisturiser, but more often than not this is light enough and yet super effective!
My routine doesn’t change all that much at night-time. I use a Refreshing Cucumber Boots Essentials Cleansing Wipe for normal skin. This takes off the first layer of grime from the day, and any makeup I happen to be wearing. Following this, I use the micellar water and the redness relief balm again.
Now, I use Boot’s No7 Beautiful Skin Day Cream for Normal/Oily Skin. This is actually incredible! I’ll be honest and say I never understood why people needed a different moisturiser at night, but having used this for a year I now fully understand.
To finish off, and when I’ve finally stopped scrolling through my phone, I dab a little of the Boots No7 Beautiful Skin Overnight Revitalising Eye Balm under my eyes. I’m not sure how effective this is, but it does make me feel a little better about myself!
All of the above can be bought from Boots, and I’ve tried to put the prices on each of them above. These prices are correct at the time of writing this post, and for that reason you may find there are offers on or that they have gone up in price, depending on when you’re looking.
Do you use any of the above? Or do you have a product you think I simply have to add to my routine? Let me know below!
Love Love Love the garnier micellar water! It’s my go to makeup remover now, works so well and is really affordable! I love the mini bottles for travelling 🙂

Exactly!! Although I never realised their travel size bottles are 130ml and not 100ml and so I had my mini one confiscated at the airport when it was in my hand luggage 😔 sneaky! xx

I still need to try Clinique but the Micellar water is something I use every day!

Thanks Sophia! My mum started me on Clinique when I was younger so it is a bit hard to move away from it fully, but it is definitely worth the investment in my mind! xx
